In album how I process my images… well here is a quick breakdown.. I tend to just do it this way.. it works for me.. many might think it is not correct.. but as I recall in many conversations with many photographers – it is not as much how you get there.. as long as you get there…..wherever there is for you…. This was shot in 2004 – one of my first ever glamour style shoots.. it is not an amazing image, but it shows workflow and how with some photoshop knowledge, some presets and plugins and some experimentation you can make cool looking images.. I could teach just about anyone how to do these steps in about an hour.. how you use the steps in a creative fashion is key to the results you might think you want….but none of the steps in these photos were anything super tricky … I sort of want to really learn the super tricky photoshop stuff but I never seem to have the time to dedicate to it that it will require… so experimentation is where I stand at the moment… This entire editing process took no more than 10-15 minutes resulting in two […]

List them below….. Here is what I have found…I will say this much.. it is time to start pairing them down but in one sitting I can consume a ton of info pretty easily even with this many… Overall very happy with communities… we need moderation tools badly, but so far so good… PS: the ones in there that look sketchy.. I only read those for the articles… This post has been reshared 1 times on Google+ View this post on Google+

This is the world's smallest digital camera, measuring just over one inch in all dimensions and weighing only half an ounce. Reminiscent of devices employed by Cold War-era operatives for intelligence gathering, the camera appears to require Lilliputian agility, yet its one-button operation provides easy picture taking. Providing automatic focus, it uses a 2 MP image sensor that takes still images at 1600 x 1200 resolution and captures video at 30 fps at 640 x 480 resolution. Images are taken as JPEGs and videos as AVIs, both saved onto an included 2 GB microSD card (supports up to 32 GB cards). Images and video can be viewed when connecting it to a computer running Windows 7, XP, or Vista using the included USB 2.0 cable. Rechargeable battery provides up to 30 minutes of operation from a one-hour charge via USB. Includes wrist lanyard. 1 1/8" L x 1" W x 1 1/16" D. (1/2 oz.) Images: Images are recorded in a standard Jpeg format. The KMPlayer included with the camera is only for video editing. Almost from the first day of Google+ I have been involved with this great Critique group – we went from just people to a page to hastags to now a soon to be massive community of critiquers. Come and join us! Submit you work to the correct category and get the feedback you need to grow as a photographer Rules are outlined below – we try to keep it simple: Behind the Lens Critique group was founded by +Colby Brown  in the Beta stages of Google+ Since then we have worked with a great team to try to provide our members with information that can help them to become better photographers.   Please take note of the following rules: If you post a photo to this community, it means that you are asking for critque.  Critique is not given to make you feel bad – but to help you.  If you do not wish to receive critique – do not post it here. If you wish to receive critique, it is a good idea for you to give critique as well.  It's a two way street, and by giving critique to others, you will be more likely to receive it […]

Even thou I understand why I cannot share with a community while sharing to my circles or public – that is a bummer… View this post on Google+

I love waking up to posts complaining about communities and how people's lives will never be the same now and it's the end of the world and 2012 is already here….. It's basically 3 days old people….. I would not be here if the community did not change and upgrade often, and I know it will not be right every time but Google does listen to us and that is proven… If you like to live in a world of no good change and limited usefulness go over to facebook… Telling everyone in your circles to not invite you to communities is anti social this is a social network. Then if you do not like it the door is over there….. Sometimes you need to adapt vs just complain… If we all complained less and adapted more we would solve many more issues in much more than this FREE social network… Do not be surprised if you get un followed by some based on your complaints that are just rants and not crafted in a way to start a discussion about how to fix the issue vs just whining about how awful your life is now…. Public posts are seen […]

Want to ask real Cops questions and get Real Answers? Here is the community for that  If you want to ask them anonymously you can do that from the website and then the questions will be posted in the community with no personal info. This is a great way to ask the people that wear the badge questions and get real answers.. thou I have to say, reality sometimes is a harsh mistress and the real answers might not be exactly what you wanted to hear.. but the truth hurts sometimes.. We will be giving away copies of our book for the best questions +CopTalk  #coptalk   View this post on Google+

In album I am not sure this would cut it as a police vehicle, but I can see the need for an all terrain vehicle that can traverse automated traffic lanes. That is much better than the way they handled traffic issues in the book Starrigger from John DeChancie where the roads were maintained by devices that just vaporized youif you broke down… great read by the way The Los Angeles Design Challenge 2012 looks far ahead with a quest for the "Highway Patrol Vehicle 2025". Law enforcement will have to prepare for even more crowded roads with electronically monitored and guided traffic, a much larger population and changes in human behavior. People will still feel young and active even later in life. Outdoor activities will dominate leisure, as will the desire for freedom and adventure. The new times will also call for new police vehicles. They must be able to reach any place conceivable quickly and reliably – even far away from any pavement. And they must do so in an exceptionally environmentally friendly way using alternative energy sources. Enhanced green-car characteristics and off-road capabilities will be among the fundamental virtues of a police car in 2025. As an environmentally friendly SUV, the […]

Drop the description and link here if you have a Community you think needs more publicity an in turn more members…. I am trying to uncover the communities I would never think to join but would expand my horizons a bit…  I wish there was a view all button for communities Here is what has caught my attention so far. The plan I have is to join many, watch them grow or fail and then purge as needed to weed them down to a nice group of active and helpful communities.  What is your plan? Or is it too so to tell? So I have one +Ingress invite to give away this weekend. I ended up with two so one should go to a wanting, ok lets call it needing G+ user So I am not going to make you follow me…if you want feel free..but do it because you think my posts are worth following, not just for the invite.. Not going to make you do anything to get this other than one thing….. In a post below let the community know why you need the invite so bad… Best story with the most +1's gets the invite…oh and if this does not hit at least 30 comments then I will post it again …. so no posts that say "neet" or "rad" unless you use it in a sentence….and it is fun to read… Yes as in the community will vote by plus 1's and you will get the invite.. G+ is about creativity and taking a minute to care more than we do in other social networks. Do not make it too long but the more creative and the more people like it the better your chance… So make your post and vote….. +Ingress  #ingress   #ingressinvite   This post has been reshared 4 times on Google+ […]
