Ok it's sunday and I have been thinking about the direction of my photography +Jim Davis started something the other day that got me thinking about what I want to do next and how I want to do it, (dang you Jim Davis) and I think I want to harken back to my days of B&W, but mix it with a bit of sexiness that I seem to be ok at and maybe add something more that I have not yet figured out how to do yet, and that's what makes learning and experimenting fun.. It is always amazing to me to see how images that are in the What's Hot section are assumed to be that of the poster and also commenters do not even seem to care and just hand out compliments with no research at all… Oh well – I guess part of me does not care and the other part that really try's to post good quality content for my followers with proper credit really gets a bit bent about it…but only on Sunday mornings….lying in bed wondering what I should post on G+ for that day… Oh well – off to steal someone's image and get 1000 +1's and 300+ comments about it, then not answer to what I have done….or give any credit… You want a good community that is self policing, do not +1 or comment …. just like your parents told you.. ignore them and they will go away… * And if this person did take all these photos from their home base in India, from all around the world – then I take it back and they are my hero * This post has been reshared 1 times on Google+ View this post on Google+

No idea how many *NASCAR fans are here…* but we will be both leading and losing the race this weekend in Sonoma, CA at the Toyota SaveMart 350… I assisted in the setup of several Pace Cars for the events at the track and they debut on national TV this weekend. We lead and lose because now there are two pace cars on the track at all times, one in the front and one in the back… my theory is you always win if your first and last… If you see Whelen Emergency Equipment on the track – that is all me and several others that keep the track safe and sound at every wreak and yellow flag…. – As a photographer this is a shot I would love to have taken for so many reasons there is not enough space here to talk about it… I had not seen this image before but had seen other "Blue Marble" Images… This image was taken all in one shot – from a distance of 36,000 kilometres above the surface. The image was taken by the Electro-L, Russia's latest weather satellite, and unlike other images of our planet, it was taken in one single shot, at a massive resolution of 121million megapixels.
