I am not usually one to get involved or jump on the bandwagon of riots over things that at most should only be peaceful demonstrations. I have responded to these types of actions many times in the past 19 years I have been involved in law enforcement as a reserve (A reserve does not get paid for their service to the public – IE: A Volunteer Officer or Deputy). I have seen it from both sides and I will tell you this much, the instigators in these groups are not there for any cause other than themselves. But after the stuff we have seen in the past two days in Oakland where outsiders once again take to the streets of oakland and cost the city hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage and lost business to "see justice" while burning the American flag I am sort of at my wits end with these types of people… so in discussing the issue this article came up which I find a very interesting read.. and at least in my opinion this guy deserves an award for stepping up and saying something… http://www.bondaction.org/content/article/37076/Black%20Racism%20killed%20Trayvon Very interesting viewpoints.
