« A note to all photographers that are starting out or really every single one of us that tries to get a shot of fast moving planes… You will have a lot of near misses, do not get frustrated. Just remember… Photography is about skills, a bit about equipment, more about timing and a bit of luck
Polluting the air
Looks like A350 Wing View! It looks the like the Raked Wingtips after the B-52 Turned
I have never understood why the B 52's engines produce so much smoke….
+Brent Burzycki possibly it is water injection.
+Brent Burzycki I saw several take off from Homestead AFB during the cold war. Not as bad as your photo, but close…..
+Michael Braucht possible, or overly rich mixtures?
I recall that Eastern airlines announced new "cans" were installed in 727's to reduce dark exhaust in the mid sixties. Don't know what that "can" was.
B52 takeoff with water injection, that causes the dark black smoke
Yeah the black smoke is unburned fuel caused by water injection.
Interesting – so pretty much like they run these days on diesel engines to increase power…
Ah the power of the community answers the question again…
Water injection is only for takeoff and last 90 seconds usually
Men you is so Rich!!!!!!!!😎
Would not do that scared of heights. Ahhh
Heavy duty crop dusting?
This plane looks like it go hit by a anti-aircraft bullet in the engien and is going down slowly because it looks like it got hit in the fuel tube that leads to the tank, the man is lucky that he is alive if the plane got shot
