Hopefully people are still having fun with it and are using the new hashtag to get yourself some critiques. As a moderator I have been out of time lately and feel it's time to get back involved again with the critique community..
So – Critique for a critique… post your critique here and a link to an image you want critiqued and I will be happy to provide one…
The critique circle is now public so just search for the #BTLcritique hashtag and help others with your critiques.
Also if you are confused with how to critique or just have no idea what is up with this critique group feel free to hit up any of the moderators we have.. there are 16 now… so you should always be able to find someone to answer your questions..
Here is the new list of moderators:

You know me and one light setups. Love the softness of the dark/light transition. My only critique is how dim the catch lights are. I would bump those a tad in post.
Well Brent…here's what I'd say about this picture. I wish that the beautiful model weren't cropped, so that I could see the full model. Also, I wish there were a color version, because I want to see more. Really though, was this supposed to be a critique shot because it's really great!
ye i have a problem with this… i cant find women this beautiful to shoot where i live without they having to b all make-up and ish. The lighting really makes you curious to wanna see more though. Well done in my opinion.
I love the softness Brent. My only "issue" is the way the light hits on her left side – it highlights the seam on her bra and at first glance looks like she has two nipples.
+elizabeth hahn she has two nipples… 🙂 or do you mean 3 nipples?
+Mike Thompson I do like the shadows.. but shadows are like cropping.. some really like them others do not…
+Dk Williams I do like trying to leave some to the imagination… and I have much trouble finding models for many reasons but mainly location…
+John MacDonald cannot dissagree… Have not done too many duo-tone shots will need to try it out…so many filters, so little time..
+Wes Lum not cropped.. it was just a waist up type shot…
+Phil Haultain +John MacDonald +Aleksandar Popovic +Ariston Collander – Thanks
+Brent Burzycki lol I meant two on her left 🙂
+elizabeth hahn ah the wrinkly in the clothing.. yeh – I saw that also… that is a bummer…
+Brent Burzycki I think you did a great job if you were going for shadows and softness. I do agree a bit with +Ariston Collander about the catch lights.. but besides that if you were looking for a dreamy look you got it.
+Ricardo Williams thanks… sadly those catch lights go away in post many times… I do not like to add them back and I never remember to look till its all done…
Wow bummer…. I guess this image got pulled…….. Are others seeing it as pulled…..
I don't see it 🙁 is appeal it, there wasn't even any nudity!
I would love to know why……..I really try to not exceed the TOS … So I am perplexed a bit…..
I am too. I'm not sure how the appeal process works.
I am not sure who to even ask.. Maybe +Brian Rose or +Natalie Villalobos can point me in the right direction or possibly let me know if its just a tech glitch..
It is not earth shattering, but it does kind of kill the point of this post…
+Samir Osman and +sly vegas have been through the process, maybe they can help out too.
you missed +Darlene Hildebrandt as new moderators
oh wow. I thought I really was losing it – I could not for the life of me remember making these comments… then I noticed it was from 2011!
You guys are messin' with my brain 😉
We will call this.. post resurrected from the archives 🙂
