My notification icon is flooded with a ton of new people circling me. I've found a ton of amazing and interesting people to follow. Now you find out who recommended you.
If you want to see all the circles shared with you in them, use this search:
https://plus.google.com/s/%22Shared%20a%20circle%20with%20you%22%20%22YOUR%20NAME%22Or just search for: "shared a circle with you" "your name here".
I was mostly done w/ making an extension which did exactly this, when I figured out the search is as easy as simply typing it in.

It actually seems to work if you just do it as "Shared a circle with you" "YOUR NAME" too, btw. In other words, if you don't actually put in your name, but leave it as YOUR NAME inside quotes.

Incidentally if you all do something besides photography or tech writing (because G+ is saturated with that) like serial killing, zombie hunting or oyster farming, you'd probably end up in more circles.

BTW – • Searches have shareable URLs: You can send someone a link like https://plus.google.com/s/donuts and it will work. In fact they won’t have to be signed up to Google+ or even signed in for the search to work.
Hmm it doesn't work for me? It only shows me sharing my circle, and those who reshared my share.
It only shows me the circles that have been shared with me. Not the circles I have been shared in.
Maybe +Justin Ormont can clarify it….
Agreed, seems not to work at this point. I'll just finish making a UI for the extension I was making last night when I found you could just search directly.

I did make it. Works well, just has no UI currently. The making it work part was super easy. The UI part takes work.
