I pity the pilot who got chosen to fly this plane. I imagine him meeting his other pilot friends in an international air show and they asked him to point out which aeroplane he fly (he'll curse whoever designed this plane)
So very nearly a Ducted Fan plane
Costs just a quarter to fly….
Somebody HAS to build a remake and fly it. Was it an Italian reconnaissance plane? Maybe built for the desert?
Corn, wheat, seedlings… just extend the landing gear to taxying gear… Instant AgMachine..
Mikoyan Gurevich's design inspiration for the MiG-15. 😀
I say it's just a huge industrial fan with a VERY nicely fabricated housing!!!!
Very well ventilated. Mechanics dream. Haha.
The mother in law …
That thing is cool
What the heck is this?!!!
👏
Flying wind tunnel
Wat! It flies or is this like a sculpture??
guess this italian was worried his hair would get in a mesh by the propellor draft. 😛
It is a Stipa-Caproni. A pre-world war 2 experimental air craft.
