The tail design is just bizarre and genius. It's like having two rudders on a large passenger plane.

Huge aircraft … might have taken amazing hydraulic landing gears to touch down with that Myra

  7. +Aditya Singh My grandpa was engineering the gears for Mrya )) That's why I was present on the first presentation, what i've wrote before )))

That thing leaves enough rubber on the landing strip to make a Goodyear commercial!

That baby's cargo deck was enough for the wright brothers first flight!!!

+Syed Taha Zayd I think the same can be said for the C5A-Galaxy if I'm not mistaken. Regardless it's incredible.

That plane defies all the laws of gravity!!!! What's the take-off speed??? In knots

  17. John Rambo 19 Oct 2015 Reply

+Syed Taha Zayd I would say about 150 knots give or take? I'm not 100 percent sure but that would be my guess.

+John Rambo But in a simulator I checked today it was 170??

+John Rambo the tail was specially designed so the plane could carry the Russian space shuttle. the special tail has been created to avoid the air turbulence caused by the shuttle settled on the back of the plane.

very impressive plane and amazing to see it land and take off.
