Hello my pc with microsoft window7 with 4GB ram,320 hard drive and 2.20GHz is always slow why?

+Waveman Daniel all depends on what you are doing when it is slow.. It can be many different issues. Virus, Trojan, just the fact you are using it heavily, are there any other symptoms and when is it slow – and how slow is slow – sluggish to open items or specific items or applications?
It is slow in browsing even when no files is open,it is slow to operate, and I have done all disk cleaning and format the hard drive many times but it still continues.
The systerm is a compac product but now. It displays HP and says serial number not found when I on it

Can you help I want to fix it so it can be good again………..I want to dual boot it with linux or. Use a visual app
