    +Lloyd Brown These are shot at aprox 200mm on my 70/200 the trees are about a a qtr mile away and the fireworks were about 1/2 a mile away… possibly a bit closer….

    Yeah, I am way too close. I should have figured. I guess I have to decide if I like shooting them more than shooting them off. 😉

    I saw that a while back . . . my friends know I have a thing for pyrotechnics. I had a similar experience in 2010. Somehow my display that was supposed to go vertical went horizontal.

    I could have sworn +Tanya Martin had video of it. I will have to look through my archives. It was pretty exciting.

    I noticed my audience was smaller this year. Oh well, I don't think I will be in IN for the 4th any more anyway. Guess I can go watch other people's now.
