Well to try to motivate myself to get up and doing something photographic this holiday I have continued to re-edit some shots.. that said models having families and things to do over the holidays is totally inconvenient… Kidding

So this is a shot of a friend that has been telling me she can whip me into shape.. She is a personal trainer… She said with enough work I could look just like her… I might have to take her up on that, then I can just take selfies and be done with hiring models….

No idea how she maintains her motivation level in the gym and with clients.. more power to her, and I hope in 2014 I can make that motivation happen. Thou you would think having her as a personal trainer would be a motivating factor..

    Good luck Brent! I have been really focused on fitness the past 4 months or so, walking 5-10 miles a day 3-4 days a week, running stairs, doing kettlebell and jumping rope/planking etc. All that good stuff. I have a fitbit flex that works ok to track steps, the force looks better though!

    Love the pose and she does indeed look to be in great shape. The hardest thing with getting in shape is changing your diet. None of the fad stuff, just simple common sense. Cut back big time on sugar and just eat good old fashion healthy food and not processed stuff. Then as a guy hit the weights! Every kg of muscle you add burns that much more fat even when you are resting. Avoid the long cardio as it is boring, unless you want to increase your endurance, instead do high intensity interval training which involves short bursts of all out effort. That has a huge impact. Hang in for four weeks and it'll become a habit.
