    Hi Brent… so how do you like the Droid 3 cam? I'm about to upgrade to D3 from original 5MP D1.

    +David Kamm I really like the phone…. I will take some photos tomorrow during the day in bright light and post them…… Its sure better than the 2……. and with all the cool camera aps…. its much more usable… but sadly the entire phone is still a bit sluggish….which is a bummer…..but the larger screen and better UI is much better than the 2 – I would not go back…

    Thanks for that info. I hear the cam also has some kind of pano mode built in? Let us know if that's any good when you can. I'll very likely be on the D3 by end of month.

    I will be shooting more with it so I assume I will learn the tricks to getting better output… these were with the built in app…

    Thanks for posting those samples. Is the 2nd one a pano stitch done natively in the Droid?

    +David Kamm yep – pano was done with the internal app – its actually not bad and pretty quick….
