Brake test of a US Army Truck NEW Brake System. On both test runs, check out the drive line as the rig rolls by in full ABS. Then, check out the final result. Ya just gotta love this new ABS. Listen to the driveline hammer the chassis after the epic failure. It's funny, unless it is yours.
I guess technically it did stop…..

I hate ABS with a passion. It's not difficult to learn how to pump the brakes, and sometimes it's just necessary to lock 'em up and steer with it.
This video is frightening… As a person who is very involved with local fire apparatus mechanics here in ca… They got this stuff figured out…. This is not a good test result….
Um, that's why this is called a "test" – to make sure this doesn't happen to a normal end-user. (It's pretty clear from the environment and the observers that this WAS a controlled test, designed to minimize the risk to the personnel in the vehicle in the event of just such an issue like this.)
+Andrew Dodd yes it might be only a test.. bu that is a massive failure that is incredibly expensive and should have been taken care of in the design stage. Vehicles these days are designed on computers and stresses are simulated before production. Whoever is designing this might want to invest in some new software….and an engineer or two….
+Brent Burzycki OOOOOOOOOOOOO…. That's not good…
