Yes. It happens.
Yeah, it's annoying. The same happens when I use another app and come back to it.

Have all of you submitted feedback on it?
Only if it gets paged out of memory or you press Back to exit.
Using the task switcher (multitask button) or Home button to exit and going back in should get you back to where you were.
