FYI – this does not mean Daytime running lights, and Auto headlights do not always turn on your headlights when you are in rain during the day…

We drive to Bakersfield from San Luis Obispo a lot to visit my mother in law in Bakersfield. We see those monkeys on highway 46 all the time Lol

Funny part is this was posted on the chp Facebook page and it says headlights should be on… Technically they need to be on by law…

On highway 46 you must have headlights on for safety.

Highway 46 is very bad, many head on accidents.

Brent, people drive way to fast on highway 46, makes me so mad the CHP never catch the speeders when we see them Lol

I have many cop friends in San Luis Obispo, most are cool dudes 🙂

This is the law in NY, too.

I've lived in several states and this is the law in all of them. My children know this one well as I yell at people who don't have theirs on when it's raining (or have on only the low fog lights or parking lights)

I want to be able to write tickets for common sense abuse +Olav Folland

Someone once suggested sitck-em darts where if someone did something stupid you'd just shoot one at their car. Too many stick-em darts and a cop would pull you over for being an asshole. 🙂

I had a plan like that but it was paintballs filled with permanent staining ink….

  16. Olav Folland 1 Mar 2014 Reply

paint balls would be better, but there'd have to be some way to reset it after a ticket.

That's part of the punishment process paying for a new paint job…
