A week or so ago I posted a note about Hangouts and how it would be cool if they showed up on our Stream Pages….. See attached photo…
Did I miss something that this feature is now released or did some Extension I have start doing this?

I think I have that? I don't have an extention. I have a thing on the side with that yellow camera that says "start a hangout"… but no one is listed under it. So either no one is hanging out… or it's not listing it for me.
Been there for quite a while 😉

+Brent Burzycki It can't be an extension, because I got rid of all my G+ extensions, but still see it.

Because its gone here now that I disabled that extension….
And we are all talking about the same thing right… small picture under the start hangout…with a link to the active hangout…

Some one want to start a hang out so we all know that there is an active one running?
Hmm well at least for me that seems to be related to the extension… if its true maybe we will see an announcement.. if not then maybe its the extension… that ext only shows active hangouts in your circles so everyone's might be different.

Have to say its the extension… 🙁 – Maybe one day it will be incorporated….. but for now at least the extension is there….
I had that showing when I had the Quick Hangouts extension enabled. Then I switched it off and am using Canopy instead. The notices in the right bar have gone away, so for me it's definitely the extension.
