FYI – Not everyone on Gplus is thrilled with Kelby or this conference.
I've seen a lot of push back posted from photographers in my circles who do not enjoy the preferential treatment like the ones on the SUL (Suggested User list). This conference was frequently mentioned in their discussions.

Try +Nicolas Ong . There were many in the discussion but I believe Nic was the original post. As they say, I have no dog in this hunt…meaning I'm not a photographer. I happened across this by accident, but much of they were saying is the way that it is on Gplus. Some here are more equal than others.

as much as I'm intrigued about the event, $299 is too much to swallow to for someone that's just curious about what's going on…
also, I'm one those that's continue being puzzled with g+ directions in the future… good thing for photography community, but I'm hoping other communities can blossom as well…
Thanks….found it a bit ago and read his posts….. he has good points but I do not fully agree with others based on the fact i have met some of these people in person…..but online and live people can be very different….and there is always another side of every story….I also believe 299 is high but I also only do one event a year for my photo stuff ans this close to me and honestly I will go for the networking and to see people ..the money forces me to go and try to enjoy myself vs. Just work my regular jobs….
