Last Post of 2012 – The Summary of Life on G+ since it started:

How do you know it is time to post a public service message – when you need one yourself would be my answer…

With the end of 2012 (oops I mean 2011 – I will screw up all my checks also) and with the end of each year I like to take time to purge all that is old and unused in my life and try to start fresher in the new year. I say fresher because we all carry along things that are much harder to get rid of.. be that medical issues, life issues, relationship issues etc…

We can only hope to kick a few things off and hopefully can say we have accomplished at least some of what we set forth to do in the past year.

As with most this past year has been a tough one for me, hopefully we can put all that behind and move forward… I like forward, I tend to hate backward, and thou it sucks in many cases to push as you need too to get past what might be totally sucking in your life, I think there are many ways to get motivated to make it better…

My new years resolutions are simple – Get myself to feel better through a better exercise program…. this is one thing I have totally lacked at over the past years. I have all kinds of excuses for why also… the main one is metabolism does not make up for not working out.. IE: high metabolism and looking like your in decent shape does not make you in shape….and does not help with stress or any other issues…

People here like +Sharon Strandskov have motivated me to get in shape…

Photographers here like – +Colby Brown +Trey Ratcliff +Karen Hutton +Thomas Hawk +mark daughn +Frederick Van Johnson +Catherine Hall +Scott Jarvie +Jim Davis +Mike Spinak and the literally hundreds of others have motivated me to shoot more than what I normally was used to shooting.

Being Listed by people like +Robert Scoble +Leo Laporte +Scott Jarvie and several other massive players here has motivated me to get off my butt in general and take more notice of what I do daily and what I post and why I post.

I have met some very cool new people since I started here on G+ – I would have never met them without it…I say that not as a plug or a a G+ lover but as a fundamental truth. I had no reason to meet anyone this past year.. G+ changed that for me…

So thanks to all that make this service possible… +Vic Gundotra +Brian Rose +Natalie Villalobos +Vincent Mo +Mike Wiacek +Ricardo Lagos and the 101 others in my Googlers circle and the 1000's I have not met or heard of… I think G+ has served as an amazing tool to let the public meet the people behind the services we use.

Take some time today to clear the junk from your life, toss the stuff you have been holding onto for years for no real reason, I live by the rule that if I have not used it in a year it usually gets tossed, sold or donated.

This year I tossed my other social networks in favor of a place I knew nothing about… and it was a great choice….
