I have been using Gmail for a long long time and have never seen this error before – that cannot be good.. I hope it is only me….

My gmail appears to be working fine. Usually a 500 error is a server problem. One of the servers must be on the fritz.

it is working fine using the gmail app on my Transformer Prime.
you will have update with your problem from the apps dashboard There's now a service disruption alert

first outage that long i remember…
Google have some fast tech 40min and most users will have their service back. nothing compared to Microsoft http://www.technolog.msnbc.msn.com/technology/technolog/hotmail-msn-outage-sparks-doubts-about-microsoft-cloud-120791 and that's just one of the outage that MS had to deal with
Looks like it is back up…. I honestly cannot remember an outage in years… well there may have been some but none that affected me…
I do not think it had the same issues for mobile….
Good on Google to get it fixed fast…. I know my butt would have been puckered.
