I am not sure if I should be happy or angry

I am not sure if I should be happy or angry…. So +J. Rae Chipera (thanks ) noticed that one of my images was up on Flickr in someones profile there.. (at least they gave me credit….)

Best part is I am not alone…as this person is happily posting up everyone's images from 500px.com – so depending on how you like to handle your images you might want to take a look and deal with it as you wish…

Part of me does not care, part of me wishes he put a full link to my site.. and the other part feels many others on there might care a great deal… so if you do care deal with it as you see fit….I really have no issues with people using my stuff as long as they tell me and I give them permission or they give me full credit.. I just like to know where it's being used more for my personal knowledge of who might be seeing it than anything really….and god forbid if someone wanted to pay for one I would want to get them a hi-res version…

I occasionally find my music on torrent sites. I don't mind that, but I always leave a link where ppl can download/ stream a much higher-quality file than would be found there.

    Beautiful photos btw. 🙂

+Rob Michael see that's my theory….. and probably what I will do here and see if it pisses the guy off…. only one of those shots is mine.. but he is taking some of the really good glamour style images from there and posting them – clearly to get hits and attention from those that just do not do anything but look at the photo …

Just noticed that you mistyped your website address on that dudes Flickr site, you forgot the "L" in black.

Sorry to bug you, just wanted to touch on this as another post came through my stream regarding art/photo theft.

500.px doesn't allow right click/save on it's images so the only way to grab these would be to screenshot them and re-upload that image to flickr. Quite a chickenshit thing to do IMO.

    +Jon Ballard I would not disagree….

I will also more than likely be sending Flickr a take down notice…

It may be slightly nit-picky +Brent Burzycki, considering you have it available for download on flickr and deviant art, both of which I assume weren't available on the 26th when it was posted by *SiPhotonet.*

I just think it's slightly direspectful to go through the trouble of mining SiPhoning 500px or wherever and NOT including a link to the author's work. At the very minimum.

He even tagged it as 500px…which is funny….
