Oh no! Because some random person on the internet smited me, I have seen how small my soul is and will impotently reflect on the hurricane again. Clearly OP is a better than I am Gunga Din.

it actually gives me hope. The positive way to look at this is that we're being overwhelmed by all the people who weren't able to get on during the hurricane. They can finally trend things that make them happy, versus the thing that upset their life. Let us look at it with a positive attitude. Otherwise it's too depressing

It's back on the trending list – Maybe more folks have power back and are talking about it again, or just were already asleep when you looked.

I'm pretty sure everyone was just out actually affecting the hurricane relief effort, now they're taking a break and summarizing their tangible efforts in the intangible world. Maybe we've grown as humans, and have learned we need to actually do things, then when we're done with that, we can limply babble at screens.

Look at the bright side, Brent. Not one Kardashian on the list.

+Matthew DeVries I am not sure you captured my point or I was not clear… I am more saying that others not affected mainly here on the west coast forget about the east coast very quickly…. G+ is pretty west coast heavy and it tends to show… But that said most people forget about any disaster very quickly unless directly affected…
