the show is from the 60s but back in the 90's when Sci-Fi actually showed a lot of new and classic science fiction this was one of their regular shows.
Time Tunnel really doesn't hold up too well, some of the Sci-Fi TV stuff from the 60's and especially from the 70's is really weak by today's standards (just story telling and plot and character development). The other day I found the 1st season of the Six Million Dollar Man at Target for $13, so I got it. I tried watching a few episodes and it was just painful. Same thing with The Incredible Hulk from the late 70's…
I do not even try to watch the older stuff with any care or comparison to current shows etc…. I agree it cannot hold up but it is fun to reminisce about the past via sci fi
it used to be in heavy daytime rotation on Sci-Fi Channel before they gave up their roots and became SyFy.
Really……that must have been some time ago…not sure when it was filmed…

I must have seen it last in the 70s should be fun to revisit it…
It was brilliant for me growing up. I remember it well. Loved it
