Apparently me not taking the time to properly pre-flight my equipment or pack things away without batteries inside them – then taking way too much time between shoot can lead to battery corrosion and failure of equipment in middle of the shoot..
PSA for Today would be: Check your equipment before you pack it away and more than an hour before a shoot to make sure you do not look like a non professional.

I had a White Lightning that flashed out of control, thanks to a bad sync connection. (the jack was jacked up) Had to make sure I always used that one on slave. It's embarrassing with people around wondering why you don't have your shit together, isn't it? 🙁

Does not sound to good, your lights ok? I'm trying save up for an alien bee 1600 and vagabond mini, the nikon sb's just don't have the power and cost more, figure that out ha like the shot, looks like you managed get the lights work for some shots at least.
+Dean Blowers I might be selling at least one B800 – to get one einstein – just trying to compact down my setup – thou I have a full set of dynalights I never seem to grab just because the alienbees are so easy…

Thanks to all that took the time to comment and + 1 this … clearly I need to start shooting landscapes if I want a pile of plus 1's….. it is kind f interesting what does and does not get + 1's – I give them out like they are free..(oh they are) and I think some hold onto them like they are gold….
I will never figure out how best to market myself or my stuff I fear… I guess I will just keep posting …. 🙂
