I have used it for years – it was updated yesterday to now also support Windows 8….. Might be worth checking out based on if you need the features below. It does cost a few bucks but its a lifetime license.

I mainly just use it for different backgrounds and an extended taskbar. But it's pretty useful 🙂
I use Ultramon also.
I use WinSplit Revolution for resizing and positioning windows. Comes in handy on a large single monitor as well. (free)
