A day with the new Galaxy S4 and so far its not a bad phone. I think
I am coming from a Galaxy Nexus and there are many items I really liked on that phone and many non "intuitive" things on the S4. As mentioned everywhere – too many gimmicks, but all in all its much faster and a better experience than the Nexus. Screen and Camera are much better etc.. The main issue I have run into was that of the Wi-Fi Issue that is plaguing many. Sadly I have the main router that is a problem with the phone, but with some tweaks it is now working. Those tweaks technically diminished my routers wireless security but for the moment its fixed and hopefully someone will get that fixed with firmware in the future. Just big enough to almost allow me to dump my other devices.. well I will put it this way at least for me its much easier to have one centralized device, vs a nexus 7, nexus 10 and a phone to lug around. But there are still some things you need the larger screen for.. I am a pinball junkie and this is easily the best app for it: http://goo.gl/60Nq6 But the larger screen on lets say a Nexus 10 just makes […]

Now that is impressive
18000 people to make this poster.. Reshared post from +Dale Jackson What you're looking at here are 18,000 U.S. troops standing in a formation that resembles the Statue of Liberty. The photo was used as an advertisement for war bonds during World War I, because nothing says "patriotism" like a human Magic Eye poster. The layout at the reported 400 yards was nearly 4 times the length of the actual Statue of Liberty and the viewer will note that the correct perspective is maintained. The number of men in the various parts include: Flame of Torch – 12,000 men, Torch – 2,800, Right Arm – 1,200 men, Body, Head and balance of figure – 2,000 men. View this post on Google+

FYI – these are show cars in a way… and the company I work with / for put them together to be tech demonstrators… interesting how LED technology has taken over so many industries. http://youtu.be/C1yZ94Y9JHM www.whelen.com View this post on Google+

I find filters very interesting to work with
but I also find myself shooting to apply filters later… As in I shoot knowing what I will do with it in post.. I am thinking this is not as good of an approach as to shoot for proper exposure and light and then not fix it later in post… the "knowing I can fix it" issue with photography these days..  Maybe I will call it laziness…. it has to be best to start with a perfectly exposed image… then tweak.. but the question is.. if I shot a perfect image would I get the same or better results? Or the same results at all? View this post on Google+
