There seems to be another silly limit in G+ keeping me from adding all of the circles at one time. AARGGGH. I added the first two circles, then hit some sort of limit. Any attempt to add more circles gets an error.
+Charles Lupica Very common – You will need to wait 24hrs and the error should clear….
+Brent Burzycki – I'm personal friends with tha Google manager responsible for Spam filtering on GMail – wait until I see him again. :))
+Charles Lupica All kinds of background security in place… just seems to make massive circle sharing and moves much more difficult….
I can't add any of the groups – they give me a 404…. 🙁
+Stuart Dyckhoff You will need to join the group here.. http://www.group.as/behind+the+lens+-+photo+critiquing+circle/ – it is usually updated weekly.. Then look for shares from +Colby Brown for the circles… basically he needs to add you to his critique circles to use the circle shares….
I thought I add already joined – just tried again though 🙂
And that said it would appear I can now see the groups.
+Brent Burzycki +Colby Brown Perhaps I need to add the information to my about page but I've been disappointed with the total lack of response i get when I add the tag to images. I have to admit I haven't gone actively looking to comment on the images of others so perhaps that accounts for the lack of response. However, I thought the moderators were responsible for seeing to it that every hashtag got at least one comment. Not much use in having a critique circle if no one shows up.
So far the group has only provided more people adding me to their circles; which is good. But it would be nice to post a picture and have some response.
+Charles Lupica i think its all about what you put into it and how many you are sharing with….i beleive there will be upcoming changes that +Colby Brown will be making to make things a bit easier across the board…
+Brent Burzycki I think +Colby Brown's last missive to get out there and comment helped a lot. Before when I a search on BTLens I found almost no comments. After Colby's last call for comments I could find anything that didn't already have enough comments. I think it may also have gotten a few people to reconsider belong because I've had a number of BTLens people drop me from their circles. I take that to mean they no longer want to take part so they are withdrawing. At least that's the way I chose to interpret it.
Thank you for clarifying the procedure. I am currently waiting on my approval and should join the group pretty soon! 🙂
