Examples: when I plus one something that is public that might show as I plus 1ed it.
How about when I plus 1 something in a community?
How about a private community?
How about when I plus one something outside of Google+?
I know how I think these should work… But no way to test it really… Or easily…
Anyone?

I would hope community plus ones are somehow seperate from stream plus 1's

Last I heard, when you +1 outside of G+ it shows up on your profile page under the +1 tab.
From my understanding, nothing is ever shown to people in your circles, you have to be in their circle for them to see your +1's. I think you meant that but just clarifying.
Did you know, the way +1's are set up right now they are pretty useless and are only used to show your appreciation of a post. Don't expect to be able to find that thing you +'d today tomorrow.
My workaround so I can see things I have +'d in the past, created a circle called +1's and everything I + I share to that circle. But, get this, G+ has a limited time frame and posts disappear after a while. So, those photos I liked last year and can't remember the name of the artist, would like to be inspired again, gone.
+James Lindsay sort of what I have seen also… I have seen many posts in the stream lately saying "friends" have plus 1ed them etc… Curious how community plus 1s are working now also.. Maybe it is only on public communities or communities that both people might be in…
