X43 was unmanned – so I think you are correct – +John Rambo – well as far as we know. I have heard reports the SR71 was faster than what is officially listed – but its not as fast as the X-15. But I assume there is a new scramjet powered craft of some kind – that said the weakest link in going fast – fast is the human in the cockpit…
Apollo 10 speed was temporary, or it would have travelled to the moon in 10 hours not 3 days, good comparison though.
They left many off of this Sadly… Like the latest Pluto probe…
