I don't have that kind of luck.

Dat SEO, doe! Not like mine. I think it's the 10th most common name in the US, and several famous people share it–an astronaut, for example!

    where did you check this?

  4. Frisno Bostrom 1 Jun 2014 Reply

    High five!

+Tor Ivan Boine it could all be garbage data but this site http://howmanyofme.com I do know there are very few of my last name… And Brent being a pretty rare name overall this makes sense… I assume your name is quite rare also…

  6. Mike Thompson 1 Jun 2014 Reply

Well, it's lower than I thought. Only 10,038 with my name.

  7. Tor Ivan Boine 1 Jun 2014 Reply

"There are fewer than 118 people in the U.S. with the last name Boine."
    woa 🙂

  8. Kai Kosonen 1 Jun 2014 Reply

Yay "1 or fewer" club! What do I win?

  9. Brent Burzycki 1 Jun 2014 Reply

We should make a 1 or fewer community… It will be comprised of the most unique people in the world…

  10. Tor Ivan Boine 1 Jun 2014 Reply

"There are 8 people in the U.S. named Chuck Norris."
Can someone make a funny meme? :p

  11. Brent Burzycki 1 Jun 2014 Reply

Only… I would name my kid I do not have chuck Norris … But my last name is not Norris…

  12. One or fewer… sounds ominous.

  13. Brent Burzycki 1 Jun 2014 Reply

+George Beckingham better than none or fewer

  14. David Pilasky 1 Jun 2014 Reply

    Very cool. Thanks for sharing!

  15. Adrian Parsons 1 Jun 2014 Reply

30 People in the US named Adrian Parsons. I am surprised that it is that low.

  16. Elizabeth Hahn 1 Jun 2014 Reply

    Aww there's 212 of me.

  17. Brent Burzycki 1 Jun 2014 Reply

The biggest question is how many of the people with the same last name are actually related to you… I can say for me.. As far as I know none of the 119 claimed burzyckis are actually related to me in any way…

  18. Al Dee Sollinger 1 Jun 2014 Reply

I am a one and only and my wife is a one or fewer. 394 with my last name. More than I expected.

    Cool/fun site +Brent Burzycki

    Thanks for sharing the link.

  19. Brent Burzycki 1 Jun 2014 Reply

+Elizabeth Hahn really there is only one of you… Unless you have a side cloning project all of us should not know about….

  20. Olav Folland 1 Jun 2014 Reply

1591 with the same first name, 434 with the same last name, and one or less of me.

There used to be two of me, but the other one died. As far as last name goes, less than twenty are related to me. The rest are IIRC Scottish. So we might have been related – 1100 years ago.

  21. Elizabeth Hahn 1 Jun 2014 Reply

    +Brent Burzycki shhhh . I'm trying to keep that a secret…

  22. Brent Burzycki 1 Jun 2014 Reply

+Elizabeth Hahn secret is safe with me – us – well all of us – ok – its not really a secret anymore..

  23. Elizabeth Hahn 1 Jun 2014 Reply

    Ruh oh

  24. Brent Goldspring 1 Jun 2014 Reply

Lol, I got the same: I feel special now.

  25. Olav Folland 1 Jun 2014 Reply

That's too funny +Frisno Bostrom. Do you know the origin of your given name?

  26. Frisno Bostrom 1 Jun 2014 Reply

It's an old Chech farm tool… I think.

  27. I checked mine: 1.48 million Georges, but only 169 Beckinghams. Only one person in the US has my name, but I think there's at least one other here in Canada. I know there are quite a few in England.

  28. Adrian Parsons 1 Jun 2014 Reply

There may be 0 instead of one as it says "1 or fewer".

  29. Brent Burzycki 1 Jun 2014 Reply

+Hector Nogueras very possible is only takes into consideration no Jr names possibly.. hard to know…

  30. Brent Burzycki 1 Jun 2014 Reply

+Hector Nogueras I will say this much – the census is rarely totally accurate.. at least from my experience of the people that came to our place once….I am always skeptical of sites like this one …

  31. It's also out of date. The note on the page says it's been updated with the 2000 census data.

  32. Olav Folland 2 Jun 2014 Reply

I think the first time I saw this page was five-ish years ago, and it hasn't changed visually. Just sayin'.

Anyway, about the only use I can see for this website is to make sure you're not naming your kid "John Smith" or whatever. Doesn't account for the number of people that can't spell names these days, but there's nothing anyone can do about that. Just ask Chrystale.
