When will concept cars be something they actually make?
Only one I can think of is the car Alfa Romeo showed at the '68 Montreal auto show. Due to an overwhelming public outcry, they made 68 of them. I've seen two in person.
Concept cars are created to test multiple concepts with a single prototype. It's rare that every concept tested will be worth mass producing. Often the designers go a bit nuts with them to really push their limits… another reason it is unlikely to end up in mass production. However, many of the individual innovations go from the concept to the main stream within a couple years. Eventually they are taken for granted… automatic transmission, electric windows, power steering and brakes… they were like sci-fi when they first came out.
The badge looks like BMW. But I see none of the expected Alfa signatures – the 'V" shaped stylization of the classic Alfa grill that's been there since time immemorial, for example.
never?
Like this..but only in my dreams I guess for normal people
WHOA!
Okay, who force-fed their Camaro steroids?

Is this the future Mustang?
+Olav Folland, the retro Thunderbird that Ford built in the early to mid 2000s was basically the concept car with a slightly different drivetrain.

Hay que inventar un adjetivo para describir esto y hacerle justicia.
What car is that?
+Ron Martinsen BMW Prototype
Seems big for a BMW, but it also looks very similar to the Alfa 6C prototype
