I host sites and email for about 60 sites – Today we are in the middle of a massive outage with our colo location – This is the text I got from one of my customers.. I interpret this as him saying he misses his email?
It all depends on the relationship. I have female friends where some of my comments probably are way into the realm of misogyny were they directed at anyone else. And vice-versa. Lewd and lascivious comments are traded as well, and sometimes me and my male gay friends. Heck, I know a few people that would find this funny in the right circumstance.
I guess I don't believe in "distasteful" only degree of appropriateness to the circumstance. Only Brent knows that.
(That said, if I didn't know the dude, I'd call the cops)
I figured that was how it was. It takes some serious disregard to send that to someone who you weren't absolutely sure would receive it in the humorous light intended. Plus, that's it a real (looking) gun, which would be damn scary if it wasn't a good friend.
+Christopher Woo oh you do not know my friends… I keep friends with guns close so i know how much ammo they have so I can have a few more…
If this was a non friend customer I would have laughed and then arrested them for threats.. I also work as a reserve deputy for about the past 18 years.. so threats are serious unless they are from friends.. then you just laugh at them and get them back when they least expect it..
thats a possibility 😀
Seems like you have customers with anger issues.
Oooo. Subtle.
Man, I hope you have a good relationship with that customer because that's pretty darn threatening from my point of view.
Hmm I'd be complaining about that. I could not care one bit if he is a customer, that is extremely distasteful.
Time to fire a customer.

Oh no do not get me wrong… We are good friends… I replied to it with a photo of my ass… And if you ask me that's much more threatening….
😀

I figured it was a friend, but good to have confirmation 🙂
+Brandon Larkin he is now a friend that owes me dinner.. 🙂
+Brent Burzycki and that's how you take care of that!
Ah, that definitely explains it. We gun owners have a sense of humor about firearms that probably seems dark/morbid/insane to the rest of the world.
