    Auto awesome?

  7. Brent Burzycki 25 May 2013 Reply

Ha no….. Have not tried that feature yet… This was many layers of Nik and photoshop

A lot of photographers have disabled auto awesome from what I have been hearing

  9. Brent Burzycki 25 May 2013 Reply

+Kamal Tailor is it applied on upload? Because I have not seen it affect any of my photos..

  10. Kamal Tailor 25 May 2013 Reply

And retroactively as well. You may have it turned off in settings.

    Google.com/settings/plus

Go to the photos section of the settings

hmm it is auto applied… I will probably be turning that off as thou it did auto enhance this image – and it in turn looks like others versions I did that is not the one I actually picked to upload… the one I uploaded was more subtle…

So for many that do not edit images etc that feature might be quite helpful.. but I rather it not change my edit I took 20 minutes to complete…

interesting tool to play with thou…

You can disable for individual photos.

+Kamal Tailor I think i rather enable for individual photos….

You are killing it with these photos. Fan-damn-tastic work.

+Stuart Ponder I appreciate that… I can tell you what I am not killing it at is any new work.. I have not shot new photos is what seems like years… makes me pretty disappointed in myself for not setting aside the time needed to move forward with my photography..

I hear that. I promised myself in January that I would "get serious" about my photography this year. Update the web site, and promote the work by posting to my G+, 500px, Instagram, and Twitter accounts. Even bought the $$$ony/Zei$$ lens I had been lusting for since 2008. And to pay for all of this I was to rely on the income from my new position at work. Which promptly consumed every minute of my life. I haven't touched my camera since February when I bought the lens. The last pictures I took were family pictures for my parents at Christmas. The last photos I took for myself were at a workshop at last November's GlamourCon. And guess where I am right now. It's 5:30 Saturday night, on a long 3 day weekend. I am at the office, poring over my teams reports from last December because a Senior Scientist found some of the data troubling. The only thing that consoles me at all at this point is that somewhere out there, the beautiful woman in this picture exists, and her breathtaking come hither look is making someone, somewhere very happy.

Many of us suffer from this…. Your not alone..

  20. Stuart Ponder 26 May 2013 Reply

True, true, true. I do go off every now and then. Sorry about that.

  21. Brent Burzycki 26 May 2013 Reply

No as in I think we all should go off… Or just never decide too go anywhere because of work… It's a huge issue…
