Well since many are posting many thing WAY more showy than this, and I can find this in any news stand mag like maxim – here is my contribution to #thongthursday just for my buddy +Jessi June who has my back in a bar fight….
This was shot a few years ago when Brent was much more concerned about camera settings than arm position…so many things get forgotten when shooting, hair, makeup, not bending your arms…PS: models really should have removable ones…
So my tip of today is learn your camera, learn your setup and then be able to forget about it when shooting so you can concentrate on getting the shot. Because there is nothing worse than not getting the shot and suffering through the editing of shots that are close but no cigar…
Cool. Let's make Thong Thursday a tradition.
+Cavalier Zee If you do a search I think it already is…… I beleive +Tessie L'Amour is also promoting it….
Very nice! I'm telling people about it, but +Jessi June is in charge. You can circle +Thong Thursday to find all the pics.
gorgeous. i love all of the curves of her body you can see just in this shot.
+Whitney Goller Thanks – as I told her when i emailed her the shot.. "Not to be unprofessional, but – wow!" – she deserves a wow every once in a while – she works her butt off – to look like she does…
great shot…I see what you are saying about the arm, but sometimes we as photogs get a bit OCD where the normal human won't care…but I understand that completely only makes us better 🙂 either way great shot…she does deserve a wow…and you can count on me during the bar fight too lol
+Dylan Patrick thanks… yeh the arm bothers me and the guy who taught me most of what I know +mark daughn would beat me up for a straight arm like that ……. it's ok thou she is still modeling.. thus I can re-shoot it and think less about the wow and more about the job at hand….
lol thats fair…i've had a number of arm issues too and I always want to slam my head into the computer when I get to post…you do great work though sometimes it's a good lesson to have to go back and do it again anyways…it means after all that you are human 🙂 the light is great here too btw
+Dylan Patrick Single flash – huge umbrella…44" I believe….love that light source…
So much I would do if I could spend more time with my photography then my normal "real" job…
yeah I love big light modifiers I'm a bit cracked out on them to be honest 🙂
+Dylan Patrick well I have an http://www.paulcbuff.com/plm.php – I have not shot with yet.. need to try it…. its an 86" – should be interesting…if it does not blow away or fall on my model and smother her…
yeah thats huge!! I'm sure it will rock though I'll be interested to see some shots with it…but yes you may need to cement it down if you are outside 🙂
man…I never even considered the arm thing! And well said about the pain of having to edit a not quite perfect photo. That's real pain for sure!
+Eric Langley it is very hard to know the photo is wring in several ways yet also know that many will not care… so thats the beauty of G+ – you can share them all and see what everything thinks….
Yeah I'm new to google+ but I've already seen the power it contains. There's a great photography community here. I sometimes forget that non- photographers are here too : )
+Eric Langley me too…….
