My family was stationed at Edwards Air Force Base in California. My father was in the security police there. He actually had 35 millimeter slides of the valkyrie inflight and during touchdown and take off. He was also given a scale model of the ship with the tail fins signed by the four Pilots. It was awesome living there at the flight test center in the early sixties
