I love the lines of the British V bombers, just so Flash Gordon. Sort of too bad that the avionics apparently weren't really that far advanced from the Lancaster Bombers of WWII.
Cool.
+Lorne Thomas looks VERY similar to ANOTHER famous bomber.
The Boeing B-2 "Spirit" stealth bomber.

Bloody thing looks like it's way ahead of it's design.
great foto handley page … remember this from an airfix box cover. 😉and yes great design ahead of its time, or found in german ww2 war spoils. 😛
Back when Britain ruled the jet age……before we sold it to the Russians
+Lorne Thomas manufacturing by Lucas?
You would bring The Prince of Darkness in to this, wouldn't you +keith olszewski 😛
+Lorne Thomas yeah, that was mean……..but still..
Love these old type of bombers best ever
Thank you for sharing photo
I recommend this video, it took 13 Victor refuellers to get one Vulcan to the Falklands in the Falklands war.
A touch and go story for the Vulcans, but the Victors performed faultlessly.
