You could probably find a REALLY cool one through G+. I'll send ya an invite if'n ya want, cause if Netflix DVD distribution is your job, you're clinically depressed and probably don't even know it. Which means you DEF need some G+ love. And a new job.
I am not so sure. I still think there is a significant amount of money to be had on distributing DVD's. I just cancelled the streaming portion of my agreement and plan to go DVD only. The coverage is better and I get subtitles which I need for a couple of reasons. I do believe streaming is the future but I still think we are 5-6 years away from killing the physical media.
They may not go away but I predict they will be up for sale in the next few years. Kinda like Yahoo, Hulu and most likely Facebook 🙂 That is what happens in that industry. Poor decisions and not finding new ways to compete will take you down.

All of which may be true, but would you actually want to WORK in the distribution center?

The real question i want to know is has anyone ever done a culture study (as in communicable disease) on the CD envelopes….
I assume the dist. center personnel wear rubber gloves for a reason..
