I just tried shooting at the moon and for some reason, every setting I chose blew up the moon… any advice?

I was shooting f11 at about 150th I think..I just stood there in manual mode and took shots at multiple settings…till I hit one that I liked…its all about experminting..

Faster shutter speed and a lower f-stop.

The moon's very bright and moving. f8 at 1/250sec ISO 200 should do it (and a tripod).

Peak is when the moon is coming up or going down
