I liked it a lot too. It has some interesting twists in it. Maybe the story wasn't the strongest but it was well told and quite visual. People who hated it really couldn't give a solid reason. But as they say you can't please everyone.
I think it had a lot to do with what happened to Baby Doll – it is unfair but then life is unfair and I do not think a lot of people can handle that level of honesty.
+Suhail Manzoor very true… sometimes people need to make sacrifices – I do not know many that would….well when it came down to brass tacks….they would give in…
It may sound odd, but I saw the ending as a happy one. I saw it as a way for Baby to escape all her guilt, sadness, and pain. At least I think that was the intention of the story. Not a happy ending I would choose, but then again she had a pretty messed up life.
I think in the end she won… by allowing those she cared about to escape even thou they were not on her side and also in turning making the DR rethink what he was doing and getting the other POS out and locked up forever hopefully…
That said its is not a "good or happy" ending… its was an ending resultant upon many choices that she herself was allowed to make..
I agreed with +Brent Burzycki , I think the director did amazing job with the visuals. The story was very good but not well explain.. I also think in the end she won too. Since she was some kind of satisfied and self worth that she help some of those she care about to escape. That was something that she tried with her own sister but failed
i loved it.
I liked it a lot. People I watched it with hated it. I really liked the visuals but will admit the story was a bit weak.

They just hate beautiful girls and swords
or beautiful girls wielding swords and fighting for themselves to get out of a shitty situation?
+Kevin Gault yes we will have none of that in our society….

+Brent Burzycki , I couldn't agree more. Sacrifices are not things we do very well anymore.

I saw it differently +Paul Hurley , I don't think she escaped.
I didn't say she escaped the facility. Rather the "procedure" took it away from her. Trying not to throw too much of a spoiler in there.
yes +Paul Hurley , lets not 🙂
