So a real question for +Gmail users – If you add multiple accounts to multiple account Google Login are those accounts in any way associated with each other? As in work and personal in the login area, do they share any association?
None that I have seen, I move between my work email and my personal emails at work all the time. The only issue where it needs a bit of a juggle is when things like Drive docs from work are sent to me and by default I have my personal email and I need to specify my work address as well. My 2nd personal Gmail address I have auto forwarding to my general personal address because I ain't got time for swapping! It's pretty harmonious in my experience but then I'm not a huge power user of the system.
I haven't seen any either. You can only be logged into one account when using docs. It can be a pain sometimes but not bad. When I want both docs accounts open I will usually open the second account in an incognito window or use Canary instead of regular Chrome.
I am really just thinking about Google associating those multiple accounts to me….the strange part is how its setup…I have 3 accounts…but two in use daily and one I rarely use..when I log out of the two main accts the ones I use daily and switch between, I then cannot easily log into the one acct I rarely use..it seems I need to remove the two accounts then login to the 3rd….
Not sure if I get what you mean. I have two gmail accounts and they don't link to each other. I checked to see if I could link the two but that isn't available yet. I don't have issue switching between the two though.
So this is when using Chrome.. You can list multiple Google accounts… Basically so you can switch accounts by going up to the acct info and flip flop between accounts…
That's what I do +Brent Burzycki. I don't log out of any accounts though and I also have my girlfriend's accounts logged in so 2 separate entities with 2 work emails and our various personal emails on Chrome.
For all of my personal Google accounts I use the multiple login. Due to the aforementioned issues with drove documents, I have my work account logged in on a separate Chrome profile window. It really helps keep things separate.
ok thanks.. in the back of my mind and knowing how google likes to work, it makes me wonder how the backend works…
I just know that they want to make my life easier, but I on the other hand might want separation on certain accounts… that feels greater than just their word on it…
