This morning, we are preannouncing some highly requested changes to Google Reader, including the addition of +1 sharing to Google+, a new design to match Google's evolving online experience, and some cleanup, which will retire things like friending, following and shared link blogs from Google Reader.
Read the post to see details. I've been using the new Reader for the last several weeks, and hitting +1 to many great posts – some of which I share here, just like any other link from the web. Looking forward to these new features coming very soon.

I'm so far behind on reading my subscribed blogs, and Google+ is not helping.
+Mike Keller I tend to scan with Reader and click on interesting articles… and just try to stay ahead of the flow….thou in most cases its basically impossible…

This is a feature I was waiting for. And since Buzz will go down, it was logical to have the same feature with plus.

+Chris Burzycki Centralized data aggregation of RSS feeds…. so you go one place and see everything than can follow stories of interest to the sites…
me too i love G Reader, i use it more times a day, and i hope they will do a great job integrating it in G+, and won't ruin it!!
BTW, i've never really used the features google is going to retire 🙂
+Chris Burzycki not automatically – but I think you can subscribe to it in reader…
If you use iGoogle as your home page, you can add Reader as one of the boxes so that the headlines appear right there and you can scroll and preview without actually visiting the site.
