I have been lucky enough to meet some very cool people that happen to also be models in the 8 years I have been shooting… I should probably thank them all more for putting up with me while I learned to be a better photographer.
That said on Monday I finally scheduled a totally new model for a shoot – 2 hours will tell me if I remember anything about shooting or lighting or metering… it has been months since I shot last.. so my master plan is to not screw up too badly… :)
Looks good, my only thing would be she seems washed out with the wall behind her, especially what would be her right side or our left when viewing.
Maybe edit it in Photoshop and darken the wall?
Sadly washed out colors tend to be how I seem to edit…. thou as proven – it is something people seem to not always seem to like..
+Brent Fishman oh i am not worried… I have been receiving critiques for years…. that said sometimes I change and others I do not…. I have been in the middle of rethinking editing and shooting styles so we will see what happens.
Very nice! Good luck on Monday!
This reminds me of one of my favorite stories about Teddy Roosevelt. Apparently one of the soldiers assigned to guard him during a hunting trip, in a careless moment, absent mindedly asked "Are you a good shot Mr. President?". TR immediately responded "No son, but I do shot often." Have fun! It's contagious.
