+David Kramer hmm downloaded at the speed of light its just the backup, install and restore that seem really long.. I assume because its a big update….
I'm still working on my iPad. I am dreading the phone next. I got several 3200 errors before I could finally get the iPad to update… Wrath of Kahn on HBO keeping me mildly occupied.
+Karin Nelson 'Or, in non-techy language: "A watched kettle never boils." ' well with how long it took you to light the pilot on the gas stove to get the water boiling i think the water probably boiled fairly quickly :D:D unless the pilot light went out again ? :-p
+Berdo C Might take till next week 🙂 – Oh the humanity, the things we face.. PS: I am just joking… and not really complaining but it is a very long update… maybe a warning should have been issued…. well i would not have really read it anyway….
FYI – if you run the Audible App – pretty sure the update unlinks all your downloaded books….or just erases them.. so more than likely you will lose all your places in those books and will need to redownload them all…
Servers are frozen…even the Apple techs can't get in.
Good freaking luck +Brent Burzycki. I'm sticking with iOS 4
I've been backing up for the past hour or so. JUST THE BACKUP. *rips hair out*

My phone made it but everything froze before I could update the iPad.
But why would the backup be long, if it wasn't long before??
took me three hours to square away my ipad. Good thing I have two monitors, so I could keep working.
+Karin Nelson I had long backups in the past… did you update itunes before the hardware?
Also its restoring aps… I will cross my fingers…
This is an iPod – iPad will be next…..
Yep. Yep. Error. "Try again later." 5th time.

Don't give up Brent. I upgraded two iPhones with a lot of patience.
I am now commenting from a fived iPad! Only took about three hours…
Patience…what is that……..
I think I have a gen 3 ipod….I swear it said it would have some added features…..not like I will not update it anyway…I am dumb like that…..
No problems here. Did one phone at 2:00 this afternoon and another at 7:00 tonight. Each took about 30 minutes. Great update!
