Another new version…..with even more bacon

A new version of the Google+ Android app is rolling out to Android Market now with several exciting new features, including one of our top user requests: Search!

You can now easily search for Google+ posts and people in the Android app. To start searching, simply tap the new search icon from the app’s Home screen, then type what you’re looking for.

Other goodies in this release:
– +1 photos
– +1 comments – Just long-press on a comment!
– See if someone's online and currently typing in Messenger conversations
– Start Messenger conversations by just entering a phone number
– Higher resolution photo uploads
– Links to posts or profiles now open inside of the app
– Several stability improvements and bug fixes

Last but not least, Instant Upload support for videos is working again!
