So I have gone for almost 3 months without doing a Hangout and well enough was enough and tonight I am now no longer a hangout virgin….

I will definitely be attending more and hopefully soon creating some cool hangouts with some pro photographer friends to help out the community here…
There is only one drawback… I might never sleep again..

Sorry I missed it. Hangouts are indeed pretty cool, I just wish they'd raise the participant limit. Usually, only 3 people talk a time anyway… 10 seems too small for most hangouts with the speaker/lurker ratio being what it is.

+Jonathan Liles yeh i think its clear that sometimes you need to mute people because of setups like on some laptops that have no noise canceling… I think we will start a weekly one for talking glamour work and I will look at joining up with some of the others … but it seems the new beta options might solve some of the lurker issues – it will allow them to just watch and chat and not need to talk…
I hate web cams but I grew a set and joined anyway….

There should be a way for people to listen and not have to participate.. I know if there was I would have used that before I actually joined one…

+Shane Srogi thanks Shane… I think this coming monday i will be trying to make +Scott Jarvie 's talk at a local SmugMug meeting… interested in the direction smugmug is going and if it fits for my work.. and its right down the street.. but I am still very interested…
