If so can you post up what browser your using and when you see them?
I see this when using the notifications drop down and it basically stops responding an I need to do a full refresh of the page to get it working again…
Chrome 15.0.874.100.
I run Chrome and get them when you do- drop down notifiction. I also have to refresh. I take it back- I don't have to refresh all the time. Sometimes I can just click out of the notification and go right back to it.
Happens here and then. I'm using Chrome on a Mac, but it happened on a Windows PC with Firefox, too. Doesn't occur often, though.
Yes. I am using firefox. All I do is refresh it and it goes away. It's possible that my browswer wasn't able to maintain the http session state properly.
yes.. I just thought it was network being really slow…
I am also running 15.0.874.100….
Man it seems to happen to me all the time…
How about extensions? – What is everyone running?
I would like to try to rule those out then I can report it and link to this post….
I stopped using Chrome because it was giving me a headache. I went back to Safari and haven't had a problem. I also use the Canary build from time to time, especially for hangouts. I have not experienced any problems when using Safari or Canary.
Never happen*******************************
I just started using the Chrome browser but I am not used to where the tabs are so I like where the other tabs are better….LOL
This happen really often…
Update: It happens both on my Firefox 3.5.15 running on Fedora and 7.0.1 running on Windows XP. I actually like that error since it tells me that the connection is broken.
All the time.
I'm on a brand new PC so I'm guessing it's the most recent version of Chrome?? Extensions I use: 1Password, Pause Stream, Google Translate, Circle+, and Photo Zoom.
Yep – but a non-issue really 🙂
It's an issue. I see these all the time.
Been seeing those for weeks.
+Scott Wakeman How is an error that makes you need to refresh the entire session not an issue?
I would think to Google its a usability issue they would want to know about – I assume they already do ….
It is a non-issue in the sense it is a refresh away. An issue would be losing posts…
I just started seeing them today, but quite a few times. I use Firefox most of the time but don't need to refresh the page (fingers crossed), just hit the notifications button again
+Scott Wakeman Actually if you use the notifications drop down to reply this issue will cause you to lose that specific reply…
Then that is an issue (losing a post). Not having the Notification Ticker update is not an issue. Feedback and +mentions would be the next best bet: +Natalie Villalobos
+Kev Isabeth +Scott Wakeman I have definately lost one in the drop down – but it was a full on error lockup nothing would update or do anything…
It is strange thou and it does seem to be much worse in the past week or so.. I even went and uninstalled chrome – reinstalled etc just to make sure…
Definitely on the server or G+ interface side it seems..
Maybe +Brian Rose or +Natalie Villalobos can pass it along to the engineers….. I assume with this many replies its a known issue.. Its just impossible to screenshot the notification box in the send feedback utility..
I never lost any as well. It just gets unhighlighted(bold letters are gone). It will try to query the database again.
I see the notification errors all the time. Using Chrome & Firefox.
seeing them a lot, I thought it might be a network error on my end, guess not
Getting the Idea problem is more with the Google Servers
