Well as the previous owner of a Honda 929 with about 200rwhp – it does fly.. and now with the new tire tech superbikes are getting to a lean angle of almost 70deg – with a contact patch of less than a credit card per tire…
I have a couple of friends in real life who have the 1000RR. It's a sweet bike, I'm not going to lie, but its a bit too "racey" for me. I need comfort.
+Douglas Knisely it is insanity.. but keep in mind that is a full race tire…..as in a slick.. but momentum and gravity are very interesting on a bike..
+Jason ON I sold my bikes before all the cool new tech came out on them like ABS and traction control.. its a totally different world now..
+Warren Searle I rode for 6 years all year long and have numerous days of showing up at work soaked to the bone and never had any issues other than wet crotch.. but I was also very safe for the "most Part"
But the saying goes – you have either been down or will go down….
yip, been there and got the T shirt along with the wet crotch when I too drove for many years an old Honda CB 650. I had someone drive over my foot while I was waiting at the traffic lights and broke a few small bones in my foot, sold the bike and bought a beach buggy instead. a lot more fun and I still got the wet crotch if I took the roof off 😀
Damn!! I hear you man … Nice machine. But… does it fly ?

And people say bikes are not safe….
How is that tire tech even possible? Incredible.

Yea, im with Jason on this topic, If I was gonna die on a bike, it would have to at least be a comfortable one for me. 😀
