The Ironmen used to fly the F-15 Eagle as the 71st Fighter Squadron. They were inactivated on September 30, 2010. They were reactivated as the 71st Fighter Training Squadron on August 14, 2015, flying black T-38s in an aggressor role, fighting against the 1st Fighter Wing's F-22 Raptors.

I've seen black F-5's fly over in and out of Sacramento,CA as late as 2016. Anyone know anything about that?

Go T-38!!! One of the sexiest airplanes in the sky. Probably flys better than an F-22
