Anyone here use this stuff…..as a sufferer from chronic gut issues I would drink uranium if it would help…. if you use it let me know if you had good bad or indifferent results….Thanks…
I probably need to start a chronic gut issue page…many could learn from my errors….
Since drinking these I certainly feel better. It's good to maintain good bacteria. Studies show numerous benefits in many areas of health.
I'm into Blackmore's product

Any side effects…….
Try junking the dairy completely. Worked for me.
I already have little to no dairy… No caffeine…. No of about 100 other things…..Over 10 plus years of dealing with issues..
The Yakult and the host of pill based products of gut flora are generally helpful to the stomach, colon etc… There should be no side effects – consult your doc for long term solutions.
An amazing number of people are now discovering they are allergic to milk based product (lactose so I take modified lactose milk), allergic to gluten (wheat etc….). Test by eliminating milk for a week, eliminating bread and wheat products for a week. It is unusual for people to be allergic to rice but that can be tested in the similar fashion.
Of course oily food like red meats etc can also be tested by abstinence for a week.
I have a friend who had problems and after extensive tests it urns out she was sensitive to vetinary drugs which get through from the farming, so she can't eat loads of stuff which are animal based . Took a long time and a lot of experimenting to find that out.
For me, my biggest problem is yeast which turns up in all manner of places.
It's common here and good for digestion. But it's more for prevention (I think).
Try not eating wheat. This month I stopped eating wheat and I have noticed a huge difference. It is hard because wheat is in everything, but so far it has been worth it.
+Chris Rodenius that is the understatement of the year I think… literally – everything…
lol. Not everything. I am not going hungry.
+Chris Rodenius well I would say I ton more than what I ever thought had it…
I've dealt with sporadic outbursts of IBS for years and can't deal with Yakult. It tastes like vomit. The only thing which helps for me is to keep an eye on my gluten and dairy intake.
I don't know if Yakult has enough active cultures to do you any good, but give it a shot. I've recently started making and culturing my own yogurt, to deal with some health issues of my own. Not at all that hard as long as you keep everything sanitized. After you get sick of eating yogurt, blend them with jam to make lassi. Good luck!
Edit: Ok, after checking the Googles it appears the Yakult does contain live cultures, which is good. I still stick to my yogurt though. Much cheaper.
All this health talk is interesting, but Yakult (and many similar products) are just everywhere here in Japan. I drink this stuff because it's just so freakin good. I assume it's more exclusive in the States
Enzyme Supplements pills helped me, have you tried that?
Do you have an example +Isaac Tsahi Moscovich

+Brent Burzycki I too am one that has fought gut problems my entire life. After 40+ years of being diagnosed as IBS and Lactose Intolerant I was finally diagnosed with Celiac Disease. I immediately dropped all gluten (not just wheat as mentioned by others). Gluten is not just in wheat. And gluten is in most things. Anyway, within about 2 weeks I felt amazing. A ton of my issues were gone. Over the next few months I would have these terrible ( I mean almost have to go to the hospital terrible) stomach attacks that would last hours. I contributed it to being glutened because people who are off gluten get really sick when they all of a sudden have gluten. Anyway, after months of dealing with this and trying to zero in on exactly what was causing the issue (oh and thousands of $'s in doctor bills and tests) I finally found what was causing the problem…..EGGS! I apparently have an egg allergy. BTW, I found the egg problem, not one of the doctors or tests came to any conclusion except that they are worthless.
After eliminating eggs I had ZERO stomach problems. Sorry so long. Just thought I would share my story. Good luck Brent!
Interesting
… it is a huge journey to find solutions……
