B-45 Tornado
Supposed to replace the Douglas A/B-26. Didn't do it too well. Didn't last long while they ended up bringing the Douglas out of mothballs.

The B-45 was not much of a performer, but its symmetrical design is one of my favs of the era. Change jets to props and you basically have a B-26.
