I plugged in an old 10/100 switch today. It also said FAST on its label.
I'm sure the Model T was FAST in its day too π

Ahh, gotcha. I was gonna say, I've got a cheap Linksys E1200 and haven't had any issues.
I recently bought an ASUS router on recommendation. I'm giving it a week before I go back to Netgear/Linksys/Buffalo.
I bought a Buffalo a few years back and will never try them again, just a horrible experience. I've pretty much always bought Linksys (first one was a WRT54G, AWESOME router, and loved being able to put 3rd party firmware on it) but won't rule out anything else.
+Brandon Larkin I'll admit I tried one and had nothing but problems. I can't say if it was the unit or the design though. I hear a lot of good things, but they're still third on my list.
+Olav Folland and +Brandon Larkin so its all setup.. and it is FAST – but time will tell – the only semi complaint I have heard on this is it can get a bit hot.. but as long as it does not catch fire I am not sure I really care…
Setup was super easy – allows for guest networks in 2.4 and 5ghz to separate them from the intranet…
So thats a plus… gui on the setup is a bit sluggish, but much cleaner than others I have used and there are a ton of options for cloud this storage and app that – and VPN access built in.. so it has all the bells and whistles…
